Today – Feb 13th, 2019 – after ten years of providing a place of comfort, healing, L.O.V.E. and joy to countless MJJ fans around the globe, MJF has sadly announced that Second Life’s Neverland Valley will be closing at the end of the month.
Although he promises that he will continue to delight fans with tribute concerts for worthy causes when requested, real life is making increasing demands on his time, so if you’ve not yet visited Neverland Valley, I’d urge you to do so now, while you still can.
Photos just can’t convey the size, intricate detail and exact replication of the real world Neverland Valley in Second Life; it has to be seen and experienced to truly appreciate.
Michael, in the very short year and a half that it’s been my privilege getting to know you just a little, I don’t think I’d be alone in wishing I could rip ‘RL’ to shreds for forcing you to do this, but I think I speak for many when I say ‘thank you’, from the bottom of my heart, for all you’ve done these past ten years to help heal broken hearts, dry tears of sorrow and lift spirits through the birth of Neverland in SL.
It’s clearly been an act of L.O.V.E.
I’m sure everyone echoes similar sentiments of gratitude and wishing you nothing short of the very best in your rl endeavors.
And to help take a little of the sting out of this sad announcement, Michael and the MoonWalk Dance Team will be performing their Just Do It Concert this Saturday, Feb 16 at 11:30am SLT (location and LM – as always – will be given out an hour before the concert commences).
It’s the end of an era, folks, but we still have Saturday to look forward to, so…….see you there! (B.Y.O. tissues)
Visit Neverland Valley before it’s gone!
